Megan Fox, Uma Thurman, and Eva LaRue follow Paleo diet: should you? - National diets

The popular Paleo diet isn't just for paleo cereal cavemen: women including celebrities such as slender, gorgeous Uma Thurman, Eva LaRue, and Megan Fox also say it works to help them lose the weight and improve their health. There's even a version of the diet for women, entitled "Paleoista." Eva LaRue is such a fan that she wrote a testimonial for the Paleo "Bible" by Robb Wolf, "The Paleo Solution: The Original Human Diet." So what is this protein-heavy plan...and is it right for you?

The "science" behind the diet: our ancestors never heard of or tasted sugar, fatty meat, dairy and processed foods - and they had no weight problems. Yet DNA studies indicate that we haven't changed since caveman stalked the earth. Therefore, say advocates of the paleo diet, our modern foods are causing our weighty problems. Is it safe?
